I'm Lisa Guggenberger
From an early age, I knew exactly what I wanted: to build a life around horses. It wasn’t just a childhood phase – it was a deep conviction that never left me.
My dreams came true
What began as a childhood passion soon turned into a serious path. I completed a German apprenticeship as a Pferdewirt. But I also knew that true success in this field takes more than just loving hoerses – it takes business sense, too. That’s why I completed a commercial apprenticeship alongside my equestrian training. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions I ever made.
During and after my apprenticeship as a Pferdewirt , I worked at a number of different stables. The desire to create something of my own was always there. That’s how ELG Horses gradually came to life with a focus on training horses with care and placing them into the right hands.
Showjumping is my passion.
My heart beats for the sport of showjumping. I’ve successfully competed nationally and internationally up to 1.40 m – always with the goal of bringing out the best in every horse without losing sight of their character. At the same time, part of my heart also belongs to the training of young dressage horses. You’ll find me at those shows, too.
Today I live and work in the south of the Netherlands – the home of ELG Horses.
Stal La Reve
We, Lisa Guggenberger and Arthur Verbroekken, run a training stable together at our riding centre ‘Stal La Reve’ in Sint Athonis.
This is also the home of our Studfarm.

More than once, I’ve sold a horse solely through video – and arranged everything for the client, from the paperwork to the transport. And believe it or not, those clients keep coming back. I take pride in my ability to bring horse and rider together – not only in person, but also from a distance. So don’t hesitate to get in touch, even if you can’t come by in person.
